1885
Luigi and Nanutti Beltrame purchase the “battiferro” on Via dei Fabbri. The articles manufactured are mainly for the sectors of building and farming.
1910
Luigi and Nanutti Beltrame break down the property into two separate companies. The “Due Ancore” brand is born.
1918
Upon returning from WWI, Marcello Beltrame re-starts production and establishes the Ausonia Company with his brothers. Expansion begins with the building of new battiferri and new manufacturing facilities. The production range expands, as professional articles for cooks and butchers are now made, in addition to penknives, scissors and items for the sectors of building and farming. At this time the company employs more than 200 workers.
1953
Marcello leaves the Ausonia Company, and with the help of his sons establishes the Coltellerie Marcello Beltrame, which owns the Due Ancore brand. The production range does not change, but with the advent of new machinery the new plant continues to perfect the articles manufactured.
1978
The new production site is built. It’s a 1000 m2 plant which is the company’s present-day main office. Starting in the 1980’s the company begins to specialize in the production of professional items for animal slaughtering.
1996
Starting in the mid-nineties the company is managed by Carla Beltrame and her husband Paolo Girolami.
2000
The new millennium sees the company reach its 4th generation, under the leadership of Andrea Girolami. With the introduction of the “Knives and Beyond” line in 2009, the company takes aim at cornering worldwide markets in the area of top-of-the-line cutlery.
